This was the world Mariano Fortuny inhabited in 1940, in the final years of a long career as artist, inventor, and dreamer — a world in which the decorative and the visionary were inseparable. The scalloped structure of ARBORETO carries the formal precision of Art Deco design: curved forms arranged with architectural regularity, botanical motifs held within a geometric discipline.
