INCROCIATO takes a singular motif from Fortuny's multi-patterned ASHANTI — the largest design in the collection — and rescales it to highlight its textural character. The hand-drawn quality of the original motif is preserved and amplified in the velvet surface: slightly irregular, gently distressed, with a patina that reads as aged without being worn. The result is a fabric that carries the weight of history without nostalgia, a vintage velvet aesthetic made relevant for refined contemporary interiors. Its medium-scale geometric repeat makes it versatile across upholstery, wall panels, and drapery. Finished with Fortuny's proprietary metallic pigments on a cashmere-cotton ground.
