Itzina Fabric

ITZINA takes its name from the Mayan temples at Chichen Itza on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula, an architectural reference encoded into the fabric's geometric structure. Each of the four sides of the temple has 91 stairs; combined with the platform on top, the total is 365, signifying the completeness of the year, the cycle of life, and the progression of time. ITZINA translates that mathematical precision into a large-scale printed surface: layered geometry that builds gradually across the repeat, suggesting architectural rhythm without literal depiction. The vertical repeat makes it well-suited for wall applications and oversized upholstery where the step-pattern's vertical and horizontal logic can be read at scale, as well as small scale pieces like chairs and cushions.
