Tulipa Linen Fabric
Tulipa Linen Fabric
Tulipa Linen Fabric is a Jean Monro design, from the London house that has printed rescued English archive chintzes since 1981.
Previously printed on velvet, this wonderfully painterly design has been recolored and moved to a cotton-linen mix, with the scale increased to produce the dramatic effect of the finished fabric. The document was discovered in France, though its origin is almost certainly not French. Tulipa Linen has a boldness of scale and an intensity of color that makes it a design of considerable impact.
