Versailles Fabric
Versailles Fabric
Versailles Fabric is part of the Jean Monro collection, a living archive of English prints that Jean Monro first offered to the trade in 1981.
Taken from a door panel in the Palace of Versailles, this design of large urns of mixed flowers with swags, tails and small geometrical borders on a plain ground has the formal grandeur of its origins. It is a design for rooms of corresponding ambition: generous in scale, assured in composition, and possessed of an authority that could only have come from one address.
