Jean Monro

Wildflower Stripe Fabric

Wildflower Stripe Fabric

Wildflower Stripe Fabric comes from Jean Monro, the Chelsea Harbour chintz house built on 18th- and 19th-century patterns found in England's great houses.

An Edwardian design first printed from a watercolor painting of 1905. Daffodils, lilac and violets appear against a wide picot-edged ribbon, with small bunches of snowdrops providing a secondary note of spring freshness. Wildflower Stripe has the particular quality of a design that seems to bring light into a room: fresh, unhurried, and entirely of a piece with the English spring.

Specifications: Content: 100% Cotton chintz. Width: 53.5" (136 cm). Vertical repeat: 26" (66 cm). Abrasion: 15,000 Martindale rubs. Sold by the yard (price upon request).
