Willa Hand-Block Fabric

Willa Hand-Block Fabric is a Jean Monro design, from the London house that has printed rescued English archive chintzes since 1981.

A stunning large-scale handblock floral of great beauty and technical complexity, taken from a 19th century document and printed on 100% slub linen using eighty-six blocks and twenty-two colors per colorway. The very soft, painterly color graduation is achieved by layering one color at a time, producing a three-dimensional quality that no other method of printing could achieve.

Specifications: Content: 100% Linen. Width: 50" (127 cm). Vertical repeat: 36.2" (92 cm). Abrasion: 20,000 Martindale rubs. Cut by repeat. Hand-block printed in England. Sold by the yard (price upon request).
