Wilton Warp Print Fabric

Wilton Weave, named in honour of the Wilton Royal Carpet Factory in Wiltshire, which once manufactured carpets for Morris & Co., has been thoughtfully reimagined. Retaining the distinctive symmetry and structure of its carpet origins, the design celebrates the intention behind the original artwork. Reminiscent of a tapestry, Wilton Warp Print is refined in its detailing: stylised flowerheads, scrolling foliage, and decorative dots come together in a smart, balanced composition. In this warp-printed iteration, the design is screen-printed directly onto the laid-out warp before weaving, a highly skilled technique. Once printed, the warp is threaded onto the loom, and the weft is woven through, resulting in an ikat effect that reflects both craftsmanship and innovation. This enhanced technique is achieved through the skill of a specialist mill. Crafted from 100% cotton. Shown here in the Madder colorway.
