Jean Monro

Bowness Fabric

Bowness Fabric

Bowness Fabric comes from Jean Monro, the Chelsea Harbour chintz house built on 18th- and 19th-century patterns found in England's great houses.

Taken from a loose cover in the Jean Monro archive and modernised by the removal of the original border and background design, Bowness is an unusual and quietly distinguished fabric. Printed on a very fine linen, it pictures narcissi a flower seldom seen in fabric design with a simplicity and freshness that sets it apart from the more exuberant designs in the collection.

Specifications: Content: 100% Linen. Width: 52.4" (133 cm). Vertical repeat: 27.2" (69 cm), half drop. Abrasion: 20,000 Martindale rubs. Sold by the yard (price upon request).

Colorways & styling: Bowness is offered in 3 colorways: Duck Egg/Raspberry, Document and White. This floral fabric brings tones of neutral, white, gray and pink to curtains, upholstery, cushions, headboards and bed hangings.

Price upon request: Jean Monro is priced per project. Use the form on this page to request a quote, current stock, lead time or a cutting for approval.
