Watts 1874

Brockhampton Fabric

Brockhampton Fabric

Brockhampton Fabric by Watts 1874, the London house founded in 1874 by the Gothic Revival architects G.F. Bodley, Thomas Garner and George Gilbert Scott Jr.

c. 1860. This stylized floral woven in silk and flax has an elegant, all over, non-directional floral design that is fantastic for upholstery and drapery. The gorgeous pattern is typical of the floral designs favoured by the nineteenth century bourgeoisie. Swirling leaves, flowers and berries dance in silk and thickly woven natural beige flax.
