Cheltenham Fabric

Cheltenham Fabric is a Jean Monro design, from the London house that has printed rescued English archive chintzes since 1981.

A charming small-scale glazed chintz of rosebuds woven through with a fluid ribbon stripe. The coloring is naturalistic, the blue ribbon beautifully offsetting the pink and green of the roses. Cheltenham is one of those quietly indispensable designs that works in almost any room: undemanding in scale, impeccable in character, and thoroughly English in every respect.
