Chimu Ikat Fabric

Chimu Ikat Fabric

Chimu Ikat Fabric by Watts 1874, the London house founded in 1874 by the Gothic Revival architects G.F. Bodley, Thomas Garner and George Gilbert Scott Jr.

Amidst the mass of silk damasks is this extraordinary ikat woven in cotton. Ikat fabrics are bound and dyed before they are woven, which permits beautiful and elaborate multicolored patterns. This fabric brings a rustic exoticism and comfortable sense of style to the home.
