Donegal is a contemporary interpretation of a heritage classic, combining traditional Donegal-style yarns with pure wool mélanges to create a richly textured plain with depth and character. The flecked surface gives the fabric a distinctive, natural look while remaining versatile across a wide range of interiors.
Donegal Wool Fabric by Abraham Moon & Sons, woven at Moon's family-owned vertical mill in Guiseley, Yorkshire, which has been making wool cloth since 1837. Part of Moon's Donegal and Heritage II collections. Offered in 28 colorways: Airforce, Bark, Brown, Burgundy, Charcoal, Chocolate, Coffee, Dark Olive, Denim, Emerald, Evergreen, Fern, Grey, Heather, Honey, Mauve, Ochre, Olive, Peat, Petrol, Pomegranate, Red, Sandstone, Sea, Silt, Slate, Terracotta and Wisteria. A fire-retardant (FR) finish applied by the mill is also offered in 24 of the 28 colorways; choose Fire Retardant under Finish to see which. FR treatment may cause slight variations in color and weight.
Specifications: Content: 100% Pure Wool. Usable width: 53.9 inches. Weight: 535 g per linear metre (17.3 oz per linear yard). Suitable for upholstery, curtains and soft furnishings. Sold by the yard in whole yards.
