UNITÀ (Italian for unity) was developed by Mariano Fortuny from his study of textile structures across cultures. A prolific collector of fabrics from around the globe, Fortuny found inspiration not only in surface motifs but in the logic of weave structures themselves: how threads interlock, how loops create fabric, how individual elements form a whole. UNITÀ translates that structural inquiry into a printed surface: a trellis-like pattern of interlocking loops and threads that reads as both geometric and organic, both modern and archival. Its small repeat works well across upholstery and wall panel applications where the looped structure creates quiet visual rhythm. Part of THE GATEKEEPER collection.
