Gordale is a textural woven check where intersecting tones create a softly structured pattern across the surface. Subtle variation in color and weave adds depth and interest while maintaining the versatility of a neutral design. Produced in pure wool at Abraham Moon & Sons in Yorkshire, Gordale reflects the mill’s long tradition of British wool weaving. Its durable construction makes it well suited to upholstery, curtains and soft furnishings in both residential and contract interiors.
Gordale Wool Fabric by Abraham Moon & Sons, woven at Moon's family-owned vertical mill in Guiseley, Yorkshire, which has been making wool cloth since 1837. Part of Moon's Naturally II collection. Offered in 5 colorways: Clay, Dolomite, Limestone, Millstone and Shale. Every colorway is also offered with a fire-retardant (FR) finish applied by the mill; choose Fire Retardant under Finish. FR treatment may cause slight variations in color and weight.
Specifications: Content: 100% Pure Wool. Usable width: 53.9 inches. Weight: 525 g per linear metre (16.9 oz per linear yard). Suitable for upholstery, curtains and soft furnishings. Sold by the yard in whole yards.
