Hydrangea & Rose Fabric

From the Jean Monro archive of historic English decorating, Hydrangea & Rose Fabric carries the house's century-old feel for chintz and color.

Adapted from a block-printed chintz of the early 1840s, when climbing designs of this kind were greatly favoured by the Victorians. Roses and hydrangeas, perennial favorites of the period, are set against an interesting stippled ground that adds depth and character to the composition. A thoroughly English design of mid-Victorian confidence, as beautiful in a bedroom as in a drawing room.

Specifications: Content: 100% Cotton chintz. Width: 53.9" (137 cm). Vertical repeat: 28.7" (73 cm). Horizontal repeat: 25.6". Abrasion: 15,000 Martindale rubs. Sold by the yard (price upon request).
