Iona Fabric
Iona Fabric
Iona Fabric comes from Jean Monro, the Chelsea Harbour chintz house built on 18th- and 19th-century patterns found in England's great houses.
Swags of roses looped with ribbons and bows, with a shadow stripe running through the background. Named for Lady Iona Molesworth-St. Aubyn, in whose house, Pencarrow, the original document was discovered, Iona carries its provenance with characteriztic grace. It is a design of considerable elegance: formal without stiffness, decorative without excess, and entirely at home in the finest interiors.
Specifications: Content: 100% Cotton (chintz) or 100% Linen, depending on colorway. Width: 52" (132 cm). Vertical repeat: 14.2" (36 cm). Abrasion: 12,000-18,000 Martindale rubs. Sold by the yard (price upon request).
