TRH5798 Senshu Nijū Gāze Double Gauze Cotton
Nijū gāze (二重ガーゼ, double gauze) from Senshu (泉州, southern Osaka): two fine layers of cotton gauze woven together, then washed after weaving for a famously soft, airy loft that only improves with laundering.
In sarashi (晒し, bleached white) or unbleached kinari (生成り, ecru). Perfect for baby wraps and blankets, bedding, robes, scarves, relaxed shirts and soft curtains.
Specifications: Content: 100% Cotton. Width: 35 inches (90 cm). Weight: about 5.5 oz per linear yard (170 g per meter). Hand: lightweight. Technique: Nijū gāze (double-layer gauze), washed after weaving. Origin: woven in Japan. Colorways: TRH5798.A Sarashi Bleached White, TRH5798.B Kinari Ecru.
