TRH5799 Futo-Fushi Bold Slub Cotton
TRH5799 Futo-Fushi Bold Slub Cotton
Futo-fushi (太節, bold slub) weaving mixes yarns of irregular thickness so the cloth is studded with pronounced thick-and-thin fushi (節, slubs), a tactile, rustic surface with real depth.
In hanada (縹, indigo navy), usunezumi (薄鼠, pale gray) or kinari (生成り, ecru). A durable all-season weight for cushions, upholstered seats, curtains, jackets and bags.
Specifications: Content: 100% Cotton. Width: 43 inches (110 cm). Weight: about 7.7 oz per linear yard (240 g per meter). Hand: medium weight. Technique: Futo-fushi (bold slub yarn), plain weave. Origin: woven in Japan. Colorways: TRH5799.A Hanada Navy, TRH5799.B Usunezumi Light Gray, TRH5799.C Kinari Ecru.
Care: Hand wash or gentle machine wash cold, separately. Natural indigo can transfer color with friction, especially when new. Do not bleach. Dry flat in the shade. Professional cleaning recommended for upholstered pieces.
Ordering: Sold by the yard, with a 1-yard minimum; multiple yards are cut as one continuous length. Natural dyes and hand weaving vary slightly from lot to lot, so we recommend a sample for color-critical projects.
