TRH5811 Shimofuri Marled Yarn-Dyed Cotton Dungaree

A soft, heavy dungaree with a shimofuri (霜降り, "frost-fall" marled) effect: dark indigo weft crosses a warp of alternating colored yarns, so each thread shows and the surface reads as a fine, flecked grid, the mark of true yarn dyeing.

Warp colors in kaki (柿, persimmon brown), ai (藍, indigo) or zakuro (柘榴, pomegranate-dyed). Great for upholstery, cushions, jackets, aprons and bags.

Ordering: Sold by the yard, with a 1-yard minimum; multiple yards are cut as one continuous length. Natural dyes and hand weaving vary slightly from lot to lot, so we recommend a sample for color-critical projects.
